Due to its broad objectives, it incorporates techniques from various disciplines, including mathematics, statistics, computer science, and business intelligence. With the rapid growth of data in recent years, data science has become a prominent field.

Data science is closely related to artificial intelligence, but they are not the same thing. Certain branches of AI, such as Machine learning,emphasize the learning of intelligent behavior from data, making machine learning one of the core skills in data science. However, other areas of data science, such as data visualization, are unrelated to artificial intelligence.

Compared to AI, data science is more like a practical science that focuses on utilizing data to gain a competitive advantage in a business environment. Data science also addresses engineering issues, such as how to scale machine learning models to serve millions or even billions of users. In contrast, AI is more concerned with the principles of algorithms.
