We are very excited to announce that Vinci AI has entered into an in-depth collaboration with Hong Kong Education City to jointly launch self-study courses on artificial intelligence and computational thinking. This collaboration is not only an important milestone for us in science and technology education, but also demonstrates our firm commitment to cultivating students' key 21st century skills.
Rich course content helps students master future skills
The self-study course developed through this collaboration covers two major areas: computational thinking and artificial intelligence. It aims to help students understand and solve complex problems and cultivate logical thinking, analytical skills and innovative thinking.
Computational Thinking CourseIncludes units such as introduction to computational thinking, using computational thinking to solve problems, using App Inventor to build a weather app, computational thinking, graphical programming languages, and programming languages.
artificial intelligence coursesIt covers units such as introduction to artificial intelligence, crash course in Python programming, basics of machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision and image recognition, cutting-edge artificial intelligence technology, and artificial intelligence ethics and bias.
The course content focuses on both theory and practice, aiming to cultivate students' computational thinking and innovation capabilities, laying a solid foundation for their success in the future society.
The fruitful cooperation has benefited many students
The results of the first phase of the project have been recognized and included in the 2024 Policy Address of the SAR Government, becoming a key task of the Hong Kong Education City in 2024, which shows its importance. Since the launch of the course, it has received a warm response from students, with the cumulative number of registrations exceeding 10,000, fully demonstrating the attractiveness and practicality of the course.
