Intelligent Mechanical Dog: Exploring the Future of AI and Robotics
This activity aims to provide primary and secondary school students with an in-depth understanding of the basic concepts of artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics through intelligent robotic dogs. The intelligent mechanical dog is a highly intelligent bionic robot with advanced functions such as gesture interaction, voice control, and face and voiceprint recognition. We will guide students to experience how to interact with humans and machines through these functions and understand the application of AI technology in human life.
Activity content
Students will personally participate in gesture and voice control operations and learn the basic principles of voice and gesture recognition. By observing the emotional expressions of intelligent robotic dogs, they will understand how emotion recognition technology can enhance the naturalness of human-machine interaction. In addition, students will see how AIoT technology can link robots with smart homes to improve the convenience of daily life.
In the practical session, students will operate the intelligent mechanical dog, use the multi-modal perception system to perform environmental perception tasks, and learn basic programming skills through the graphical programming interface. This activity aims to guide primary and secondary school students to explore the aviation field and learn STEAM-related knowledge through flight simulators. Students will become pilots, experience the fun of flying an airplane, and learn flight principles, meteorological knowledge, aircraft control, etc.
Activity content
Students will learn basic flight principles such as lift, gravity, thrust and drag, and understand the impact of meteorological conditions on flight. Under the guidance of professionals, they will learn to use a flight simulator, including steering the rudder, controlling the throttle, and handling various flight conditions.
In the practical session, students will simulate flying an aircraft, complete basic operations such as takeoff, cruising, and landing, and challenge flight missions under different weather conditions. In addition, they will learn to design flight routes, calculate flight distance and time, and use art to record the flight experience.
